Well it seems my post are few and far between....I am sorry for that. I have started back school, 6 weeks in. I have started a new position at the same school. I am a resource teacher and no longer a self contained teacher. I an can tell you how much more I love my job. I feel like I am in a good place. McCoy stays with my mom who also keeps Nora so they are together once again. I can not even describe the love they have for one another. When they see each other for the first time all day all is right in the world. They are precious together.
We are still living with a friend and somewhat saving money for Matt's job. His big interview with State Farm is tomorrow morning. I have no doubt in my mind that he will do amazing. We have been excited to see what places will be available for us to look at in the up coming months.
On a McCoy note he is doing great. He is now 16 months, where has the time gone?? He is healthy, smart, and I can't leave out that he is pretty darn cute too! Everyday he is learning something new. I swear he is the smartest 16 month old out there. He tries to say everything you say and is consistently pointing at things and learning new words. He loves the word "up" to me! He seems to be a little bit needy when I am around but I think I should enjoy it while I can...which is hard to do sometimes. I also think it could be a little payback for when I was little with my mom.
I took him to the doctor today because we are a little concerned with his walking, or lack there of. For the past 2 months he has been taking steps, up to 13. Now it is like we have not made progress and of course being a first time mom I worry. His ankles are rolled in more than what I thought was normal and thought that maybe that had something to do with it. So we went to the doctor and I think to give me peace of mind he referred us to an Orthopedic Pediatrician to get a second look. The doctor did not seem concerned about it. He said his muscle tone is good and everything seems to be okay for 16 months. He said that when a toddler/baby begins to excel in one area such as verbal skills that the other area(motor) will not being doing awesome....pretty much they will get it over time and not to worry until 18 months. I just didn't want to wait until 18 months and be in the exact same boat. So relieve my stress he now has a doctor appointment on Thursday to get his legs and ankles checked out.

Catching Up
Well McCoy's first birthday came and went and it was awesome! The end of school seems to get so busy that I forget to blog. For McCoy's birthday I took the day off of school. It was a Wednesday and it was perfect. We woke up when we wanted and played. My sister Megan came over and I had Nora Joy a good part of the day. We all went out to get a couple of things for his party that Saturday. We all went to Babies R Us and I locked my keys in the car...with no cell phone....and 2 little ones...and a very patient sister. Matt brought us keys so we were saved.
We had his one year check up and he is perfect...of course. He is 97% in height and 33% in weight. I did not get his one year shots because I was a little worried abot the MMR and he had a runny nose and cough. More things to think about.
It has been a wirl wind since then and now there are only 5 more days of school. I am sooo excited about it being over and also about coming back to a new position. This summer we are planning of going to Florida with both families. I plan on just being home with McCoy and soaking it all in.

Happy Birthday Matt!
Today Matt is 28 years old. I have been with him for 11 of those years. It doesn't seem like that long but somehow time has flown and I am celebrating his birthday with him for the eleventh time....kinda crazy. It has been a crazy ride that has made it calmly to this point in our life. Married with a little one and I could not be happier. He went out to lunch with his family and McCoy to Longhorns. Tonight we are going to eat sushi, one of my favs! His birthday gift is a set of new golf clubs that he just got himself after selling his old ones. I don't like it when he knows what he is getting or not getting it on his birthday but for some reason we both always do that on our birthdays.
28 more days of school :)

Spring Break is here
Well it has finally got here and it doesn't feel like it really. I guess tomorrow when I wake up to feed McCoy and don't have to stay up and leave him I am sure it will hit me. So this Spring Break has already had a lot going on and it is only Sunday night.
Yesterday around 5:30p.m I got a call from my mom and shortly after my sister. Nora was having an allergic reaction to peanuts and Lauren needed some Benadryl to help her out. I got in the car with them to go to the store and quickly realized that her allergic reaction was pretty bad. I was in the back with Nora and we stopped to get Benadryl for her. I jumped in the front seat and started driving to the emergency room. Nora was not wanting to take the medicine on the way so Lauren was dipping her passie in it as much as possible.
Nora was itching her nose, eyes, coughing, and wheezing. Her face was extremely swollen and her right eye was pretty much shut. I drove as fast as I possibly could without getting in a wreck and it felt like it took forever. We finally made it to the emergency room and they took her right back. We had to hold her hands and feet down while they gave her a steroid shot and more Benadryl orally. It was so hard to do and to watch her in so much pain.
You could tell she was getting better and not so upset when the nurses were not poking at her and forcing her to drink things she did not want to drink. Hector got there and I was able to leave. She had to stay for 3 hours to make sure everything was okay. Now our family and especially Lauren's house will be peanut free.
So today the family came over and we had a cook out. Really it was just my mom, Lauren and her family, and our room mate Rusty. We were watching the Braves and it was beautiful outside. McCoy and Nora were crawling around the floor and the guys were cooking outside on the grill. Rusty was coming in and was in a hurry and McCoy was in the wrong spot at the wrong time. The door and McCoy's head met and it was not pretty. It was slow motion for me. He was hit square in the head. I think he couldn't breath for 30 seconds and then started screaming. I knew it hurt so bad....I hated to see him in pain. He got a perfectly straight bruise and and nice bump on his head. We were glad it was a bump...apparently that is better than nothing at all. I am sure this is just the beginning of many bumps and bruises to come.

A Birthday Coming Up
I am planning for McCoy's 1st birthday that will be here so soon! I have been searching all over the internet to find cute ideas. There is an endless amount of things I can do, make, and have. Matt and I both decided that we think we are going to do a train theme, well actually we are doing that. I have just received the invitations and they are so sticking cute! I just got in train whistles for the party favors.... I have discovered a new website. I have heard of it before but guess I forgot it existed for a while. It is etsy.com. I have found some great stuff of it. They have a lot of things that are adorable that I am going to try and make for a little cheaper. Since this is the first baby and first birthday I might go a little over board on all of it, which I think is okay. If you have any awesome ideas please share because I want it to be a 1st birthday that no one will forget! Here are some ideas that I want to do...

And the countdown begins!
Well it has come that time of year again where I can begin to count down how many weeks until summer! I have 9 more working weeks until I am done! How exciting!!!!
I read a post that I did earlier about me being in a funk...I am so glad I posted that because I feel completely different now. Although I rather be at home with McCoy I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with work. I will begin a new position at the same school next year and im really excited about that. Me and Matt have moved in with a friend and we are really starting to save money for his business when the time comes. McCoy now sleeps from 8 until 8...this morning 9:45 (he loves me) and I am getting great sleep. I am not having to deal with 2 dogs anymore, my in laws have one and my mom has the other. I just feel much relived about everything. So I guess not looking good in a bathing suit is not so bad after all.

Bathing Suit Season....REALLY?!?!
I am really over the weight thing. I wish I would have realized forever ago that I would never truly be happy with my weight and that I looked fine. I am sure I will be saying the same thing 10 years from now. I am just so over trying to lose weight. I am going to run, then that fades out, weight watchers, don't keep up with that, shakes, I am tired of those. I just want to look freakin amazing and not have to think about everything. I need a job where I am really physical everyday so I do not have to worry about working out or what I eat. It has been 10 months since I had McCoy, no excuses any more. I really would just like to look decent when I go to Florida this summer. While I am ranting a tan would be nice with great highlights....I might be over my pity party now, thanks for listening.

We have a crawler
Well McCoy decided that he was going to start crawling yesterday! I was doing laundry and McCoy was hanging out around me playing. The guy we live with, Rusty, started to play with McCoy. He just asked if he had started crawling and I had told him no because he would hear me if it happened. So They are hanging out on the floor and McCoy decided to take one little crawl....I was so excited I called Matt and texted everyone else. He procceded to do it one more time yesterday morning. After that he was good for the day and we have not seen it since. We have carpet upstairs and wood floors downstairs so I think being on the carpet helps a little. That is one more milestone that he has achieved....so much fun!!!

I'm Back!!!
Well its been a while!! I have tried multiple times to write but could not figure out how to sign back on and it had defeated me. I am now back and there is a lot to say....
First of all McCoy is doing amazing! He is 10 months old and scooting every where. He decided to hold off on crawling since it was not necessary. That of course made me worried but I decided not to worry about it and when he is ready to crawl he will. For now he does a little army crawl to get every where. He is still with my sister and his little cuz Nora. They get along great with each other. He likes her a lot more than he did in the beginning and both of them get a big smile on their face when they see each other, it is adorable. He has not stopped growing, he is wearing 18 month old clothing. He is in the 99% of height, which me and matt love to brag about. He is so happy and does new sounds and faces all of the time.
I have been doing good too. We have moved into another house renting out ours. We are trying to save a little money so it is temporary..... :) I am changing positions at the same school and am really excited about it. I am in need of a change at work, so I can't wait to see how it goes. I have 17 more days until Spring Break and get to be with McCoy nonstop!
I am now starting to plan McCoy's first birthday....crazy it is already coming up. Hoping to post the cutest pictures ever of the cutest baby ever!!
Thanks for still reading along. I promise it will not be this long next time....
